A.T.E./HMX Systems exhibited a working model of HMX's new generation sensible cooling technology heat exchanger at the recently concluded CII – GBC International Exhibition on Green Buildings, held at Hyderabad, between 10-12 Sep.’09. The sensible cooling heat exchanger is based on proprietary technology, developed by HMX Systems (patent pending). This heat exchanger is the core of the Ambiator, offered by HMX Systems for comfort conditioning, which is a low cost, low carbon, low energy consumption state-of-the-art cooling technology, offering 100% fresh cool air. This is a better alternative to conventional air conditioning, and is more relevant for large gathering places like IT parks, BPOs, offices, factories, halls, malls, multi-plexes, etc. The exhibition was a resounding success. Many leading consultants, architects, contractors, end-users, students and industry players visited the stall. This underscores the increasing interests in green technology products and solutions, to combat the threats of climate change. Ambiators also generated a lot of interest and curiosity, perhaps specially due to the recent outbreak of swine flu. Ambiators, as they offer 100% fresh air, help to dilute the viral density in the air, thereby reducing the chances of infection from contagious viruses like H1N1. In contrast, conventional air conditioners re-circulate a large part of the same air within the premises, which can increase the concentration of viruses if an affected person happens to be in such an air conditioned space. Thus, besides the environmental advantages, Ambiators also help in maintaining health. |
